Major eurozone stock markets advanced in opening deals on Thursday but London slid as investors digested Asian losses.
Frankfurt’s benchmark DAX index won 0.3 percent to 14,197.77 points and the Paris CAC 40 gained 0.6 percent to 6,538.17.
London’s FTSE 100 slid 0.2 percent to 7,575.96 compared with the closing level on Wednesday.
