Berlusconi admits defeat as Italians reject nuclear power

Italy’s Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi acknowledged defeat Monday in referendums on nuclear power, water privatization and trial immunity for ministers, saying the will of Italians was "clear" and that the government would have to "respond fully".
