Ponts et Chaussées have announced the following road closures and works:
On Saturday 24 September, between 7.30am and 5pm, Rue du Fort Bourbon will be completely closed to traffic. Rue du Fort Elisabeth will also be closed between Rue Dicks and Rue du Fort Bourbon.
The motorway is being resurfaced, and this is likely to hinder traffic circulation on Friday 23 September and Sunday 25 September. On Friday, speed will be limted to 70km/h in the Trier direction between the Flaxweiler and Münsbach exits between 8am and 2pm. Then between 12pm and 7pm, going to Luxembourg from Trier so the other direction, one lane will be closed between the Potaschbierg and Münsbach exits. Once again, speed restrictions will apply.
On Sunday 25 September, the A1 sliproads at Kirchberg will see speed limits restricted to 50km/h going in both directions. This will apply between 7am and 7pm.
