(Urgent:) Graduate student looking for expat respondents

Expatriates of all nationalities, working in any country or industry type, are invited to complete the questionnaire. The one criterion is that respondents possess at least six months of working experience abroad. The direct link to fill in the survey is: http://www.thesistools.com/expat_timetoproficiency_eng. All answers will be processed discretely and will be used for the purpose of this scientific research only. Filling in the questionnaire will take about ten minutes of your time.

The research is aimed at explaining differences in the time to proficiency of expatriates. Time to proficiency can best be described as the time needed for expatriates to become proficient in their new surroundings after transferring to a new job or host-country. It is proposed that the duration of presence in the host-country influences the level of adjustment, which has consequences for the expatriates’ performance level. Companies and expatriates can use the results of the research, amongst others, to make estimations of the required time to become proficient in their job and for otherwise assessing the appropriateness of their assignment.
