United Kingdom Ireland expects ‘very substantial loan’ from EU and IMF

Ireland is expected to receive an EU and IMF-funded loan of billions of euros in order to help the country overcome its spiralling debt crisis, Central Bank Governor Patrick Honohan said on Thursday.
