Grand Duke of Luxembourg hospitalised but satisfactory

Grand Duke of Luxembourg Henri, who is the country’s head of state, was rushed to hospital Thursday after suffering a “slight malaise” but is in satisfactory condition, the palace said.

He “is currently under medical observation”, a statement said. “He is in satisfactory condition.”

The 55-year-old sovereign, a sportsman and father of five, in 2,000 took over from his father, Grand Duke Jean, who abdicated and who last month turned 90.
