Celebrate with us: Expatica.com’s new look

Expatica is pleased to announce the launch of our redesigned website, with a fresh new look, improved navigation, and more user-friendly tools to help expats find the information they need.

We hope the new site reflects the needs of our international audience. Our goal is to better connect readers with important information so they can enjoy and settle into an expat lifestyle. Immediately you will notice streamlined menus, an aesthetic layout, increased readability, and a range tools to help expats define their information searches.

Five new features to celebrate
‘At a glance’ homepage: Our new homepage layout allows readers to quickly scan our main topics, read the latest news headlines, see recent forum activity, and locate a whole range of useful tools.

Tag clouds: With our new tagging system, readers can quickly define the topics they want with one easy click.
Social media integration: Now you can easily share relevant information with friends using our new social media sidebar.

Ask the Expert: If you have a complicated situation that requires expert advice, get a specific answer for free by posting your question on our Ask the Expert service.

Tool boxes: On all our pages, readers have easy access to a range of user-friendly tools, for example house and job searches and A-Z listings of local companies.

In loving memory of Antoine van Veldhuizen

Expatica’s newly designed website is the long-term creation of our former managing partner, Antoine van Veldhuizen, who lost his life on MH17 on July 17, 2014, along with his family. In his loving memory we launch the new site and acknowledge his efforts to continually improve Expatica and make us a better team. We hope the final version of the new site is everything he once dreamed.
