United Kingdom EU imposes sanctions on five over assassination plot

The European Union has imposed sanctions on five people linked to an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington, EU officials said Friday. The US has formally indicted two men over suspected involvement in the plot.
