Firefighters rescue the serial climber twice over the weekend.

7 April 2008

LEON - Firefighters in León took an hour to bring down a man who had climbed to the top of the city's efe cathedral on Saturday, local authorities reported.

The man, a 43-year-old identified as J.M.G., made the rescue operation harder by jumping from pinnacle to pinnacle, which caused some damage to the building, which is known for its stained-glass windows.

Not content with this feat, on Sunday the same man was reported to have scaled a construction crane in the same city, forcing firefighters to come to the rescue once again.
