SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE – An Italian man was arrested after asking an air stewardess where he could put a bomb, police said Tuesday.
The 27-year-old tourist was taken off the plane after the incident at Tenerife airport.
He did not have any type of explosive device but has been charged with a public order offence.
The incident happened Monday as the plane was about to take off.
The man had a bag in his hand as he asked one of the air stewardesses: “Where do I put the bomb?”
The captain of the plane ordered the passenger to be taken off the aircraft. The man was later arrested by police.
