MADRID – An unlikely star set foot upon the hallowed turf of Real Madrid’s soccer stadium yesterday: Sylvester Stallone.
In town to promote John Rambo, the latest in the Rambo series, the 61-year-old actor said that he "loved Real Madrid and its stadium," but admitted that "as an American, I don’t know much about soccer."
Twenty years after Rambo’s last cinematic outing, this instalment of the story sees the pumped-up commando rescue a group of missionaries being held hostage in Burma.
When quizzed about the action in the movie, he said that the film "is violent because the world is violent, and I’m not going to hide that."
