MADRID – A state funeral is to be held for all the 202 victims of the terrorist attack in Madrid, the Government announced Tuesday. The ceremony will take place on 24 March.

Apart from all the members of the families of the victims, it is expected to be attended by all the members of the government and regional authorities.

The Government said that it wanted to honour the memory of all those who died in the attacks in Madrid Thursday last week.

The Archbishop of Madrid, Antonio María Rouco, is also due to hold another ceremony to honour the dead at 8pm Tuesday.
