SEVILLE – Police arrested the man who threw a bottle which hit a Primera Liga football manager on the head, knocking him out.
The attack on Juande Ramos last month, caused a huge debate inside the Spanish football world about the level of violence.
Betis was banned from playing for three matches.
The incident took place during the quarter-final of the King’s Cup match between Betis and Sevilla last month.
Police said on Tuesday they had arrested Angel CHR, 30, and charged him with causing injury to the Sevilla manager.
