Hot blooded Spaniards? It’s a myth study reveals

27 April 2007

MADRID – Spaniards are not the hot-blooded types they are often taken for, according to a new study.

In fact, they are among the coolest people in Europe – at least while forced to waiting in a queue.

The study by the NCR firm found they are the least likely to argue while they are waiting in line.

And one in three Spaniards will happily fill the time by flirting with someone next to them.

In a survey of 5,500 Europeans, NCR found half the Italians admitted pushing someone while in a queue.

They were followed by the British who scored 39, then he Germans with 34, and the French with 25. Spaniards came last with 24.

Italians topped the list – with 81 – for the most likely to flirt with people in a queue.
