Former premier Tymoshenko exceeded office, court rules

Opposition leader and former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko exceeded her office by asking state energy firm Naftogaz to conclude a 2009 deal with Russia, a Ukrainian court ruled Tuesday. Prosecutors have asked for a prison sentence of seven years.
