MADRID – A woman and her 11-year-old son were killed in their home yesterday in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, in a case of domestic violence.
The victim is the first to die at the hands of her partner in the new year, while the pair are the third and fourth homicide victims of 2008. Last year, 10 women in Spain were killed in domestic violence cases.
