CADIZ – A ten-year-old boy died after goalposts fell on top off him in a park, authorities said Tuesday.
The boy was playing football late Monday in his local park in Pino Alto, near Cadiz in southern Spain, when the accident happened.
The emergency services were called after the goalposts fell and hit the boy on the head.
He was taken to hospital but died later from his injuries.
Since 1995, eleven children have died in similar accidents in Spain.
