ANV and PCTV withhold condemnation of ETA attack

MADRID – An ETA bomb that exploded at a Sestao courthouse Sunday morning has been condemned by all Basque political parties, except for the Basque Action Party (ANV) and the Basque Communist Party (PCTV), neither of which has issued a statement.

This most recent attack comes a week after ETA murdered two Civil Guard officers in the French Basque region. The government has recently stated their intent to illegalise ANV for its alleged ties to the Basque terrorist group.
