Emily Martin

Born and raised in Aotearoa, New Zealand, Emily was brought up on a diet of adventure and curiosity. After studying as a broadcast journalist and working as a TV documentary researcher, she moved to Cambodia, leading communications for a social enterprise circus.

Now living in the UK, she has worked for an adventure tour operator and currently spends her days working in the community. Emily is a storyteller at heart, and enjoys helping expats navigate their way through the trickier parts of life by writing articles for Expatica, which give them room to create their own stories.
