Carla Parks

A native Californian, Carla first came to Europe during a backpacking trip with college friends. She fell in love with travel and returned to London for a six-month stint that has turned into over 20 years.

A former BBC staff writer, Carla now enjoys the flexibility of freelance writing and has several clients. She has learned to accept the inevitability of British winters by becoming acquainted with several pubs.
