South Africa’s linefish stocks show recovery

South Africa’s linefish stocks are starting to show a recovery, says the World Wildlife Fund for Nature SA, thanks in part to the “difficult and unpopular” decisions made by the government in 2000 to reduce linefish permits and ban driving on the country’s beaches.
