South Africa’s action plan to keep the lights on

South Africa’s so-called “energy war room” – established last year to address the country’s energy
issues – was focused on implementing the government’s plan to stabilise supply and diversify
sources of energy, Rural Development Minister Gugile Nkwinti told a media briefing this week.
