Seven Gauteng schools switched on

Seven schools in Gauteng are part of a pilot project launched this morning – at the
start of the school year – to bury the chalkboard. The Big Switch On will turn ordinary
schools into digital classrooms of the future, boosting the skills needed for a thriving,
modern knowledge economy.
