SA ‘concerned’ about Sudan violence

South Africa has expressed concern about violence in Sudan’s Abyei region and is calling on parties to the Comprehensive Peace Agreement to cease hostilities and to address the contentious post-referendum issues, including border demarcation, the status of Abyei and the sharing of resources.
