Fuel price helps ease inflation

South Africa’s Consumer Price Index dropped to 4.4% in January 2015 – its lowest level since April
2011, Stats SA announced on Wednesday. Economists say inflation is expected to drop further in
February as the significant fuel price decreases continue to filter through.
