United Kingdom Volcanic eruption shuts down Iceland airport

Iceland on Sunday closed its international airport as the Grimsvotn volcano sent a cloud of ash over the country, but said the ash was blowing away from Europe, unlike in 2010 when a volcanic eruption closed the European air space for five days.
