Both the champion and runner-up from the 2010 UCI BMX World Championships in Pietermaritzburg, Maris Strombergs of Latvia and South Africa's Sfiso Nhlapo, have been ruled out of forthcoming UCI BMX Supercross World Cup, taking place in the city on 8 and 9 April.
