South Africa has announced an initial team of 112 athletes from 17 sporting codes to represent the country at the 2012 London Olympics. Caster Semenya will contest the 800 metres at her first Olympics, while swimmer Roland Schoeman will match the South African record of competing at four Olympic Games.
