Archaeological sites in Pinnacle Point, Mossel Bay in the Western Cape have been declared provincial heritage sites, bringing the area one step closer to being named a World Heritage Site, says the South African Coastal Palaeoclimate, Palaeoenvironment, Palaeoecology and Palaeoanthropology Project.
