Rand leapfrogs Nigeria’s naira as Africa’s top currency

South Africa’s rand is the continent’s top currency again after investors were enticed to the
country because of Brexit and the local election results of 3 August. However, economists believe
the lead will be short, with the Nigerian naira making a comeback in the near future.
