New minister wants end to mining strike

Ngoako Ramathlodi says his first order of business as new mineral resources minister will be to help facilitate an end to the four-month strike in South Africa's platinum mining belt. "Everyone would be keen to see the strike end as quickly as possible," Ramathlodi said after being sworn in to office on Monday.
