Murdoch refuses to face parliamentary committee over phone hacking

Britain’s deputy prime minister has urged Rupert Murdoch to face questioning by lawmakers over the phone-hacking scandal which has dogged his media empire. The paper’s former editor, Rebekah Brooks, has agreed to talk.
