Lonrho buys SA agri-distributor for R50m

Lonrho has acquired Grindrod PCA, a leading exporter of fruit, vegetables and fish, from Grindrod South Africa for R50-million in cash, making the London-based conglomerate the leading exporter of southern African agricultural produce to the global marketplace by air.
