Jazz and early youth development in South Africa

Can jazz music, like classical music, hold the key to early childhood development and inspire
creativity in South African youth? Teacher Mignon van Vreden and her Bejazzled project use jazz
to teach preschoolers about co-ordination, rhythm and improvisation.
