Dilemma, apartheid’s lost film

In 1962, Danish filmmaker Henning Carlsen secretly made the anti-apartheid drama
Dilemma, based on a Nadine Gordimer novel, right under the noses of the South
African apartheid regime. The film has been called “a crown jewel” of South African musical
heritage.
