Boost for SA police investigative skills

South Africa will spend more money on training the country’s police officers in
investigative skills to raise the conviction rate against serious offenders. Last year,
over 18 000 officers were trained in the law regarding victim empowerment, child justice, human rights, domestic violence and sexual offences.
