Black History Festival in London

Published on 21/10/2009

From 23 to 25 October Londoners and visitors from all over the UK will be treated to the country’s premier Black History Festival. This free 3 day family event will be a vibrant celebration of multi-cultural diversity, mixing key historical elements with an eclectic programme of entertainment.

From 10am to 8pm, Potters Field Park will be transformed to accommodate a whole host of activities designed to capture the imagination and interest of all – specialised kidzones, motivational demonstrations, art and cultural exhibitions, and a main stage showcasing live music, performances, dance, theatre & comedy. The line-up will feature some well known favourites and the pick of today’s young talent – with contributions from Pineapple Dance Studios to Felix Dexter and Andi Osho.
