The State wants to buy houses in 12 municipalities in the Algarve

IHRUThe IHRU – Instituto da Habitação e da Reabilitação Urbana, a public entity, is looking for houses to buy, in municipalities in the regions of Porto, Lisbon and the Algarve.

The objective is to expand the public housing supply at affordable costs for those on low income, explains the Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing in a statement.

Proposals can be submitted by the owners or legal representative of the properties, as well as real estate brokerage companies. The types of properties in consideration are between 1 bedroom to 4 bedroom, with a maximum value of €213,000 for 1 bedroom,  €295,000 for 2 bedroom, €373,000 for 3 bedroom and €430,000 for 4 bedroom properties.
