In Portugal, the Judicial Police detained five suspects allegedly involved in criminal activity.
The Judicial Police were part of an international operation involving Europol and several police forces from EU Member States, the US and Canada, whose objective was to identify potential sellers and buyers of illegal products through the Dark Web.
The Judicial Police arrest the suspects for drug trafficking, seizing ecstasy and LSD.
The authorities advise Portuguese citizens not to use the Dark Web in any circumstance because of the high risk of having personal data exposed and being victims of fraud.
