Man arrested at Tavira nudist beach on sexual abuse charge

A man has been arrested by the Police for allegedly sexually abusing his son, a minor, at a nudist beach.

A statement from the Police reads that, “the facts occurred yesterday, in broad daylight, around 6 pm, on a beach, in Tavira, in the area of the beach where nudism is practiced. This was witnessed by several naturists who questioned the abuser and called the authorities.”

With the support of the Maritime Police, the Police identified and arrested the man, said to be a 42 year-old banker with no existing criminal record.
