Heroin dealer on stolen bicycle

heroinA 28-year-old man was arrested by the Loulé GNR yesterday, (Tuesday March 12th,) for drug trafficking.

A GNR patrol, in the Vale Formoso area in the municipality of Loulé, spotted a drug deal going on, “that GNR personnel witnessed the suspect making a drugs sale and arrested him in the act.”

A follow-up search of the man’s home yielded enough heroin for 4,215 wraps, enough cocaine for 206 individual sales, two sets of scales, one mobile phone, cutting compounds and €1,569 in cash.

A happy find also was made as the bicycle the man was using to help ply his trade was identified as having been stolen, so will be returned to its rightful owner.

The arrested man was to be presented to the Judicial Court of Loulé on Wednesday.
