Bomb Scare At Vilamoura Nightclub ‘LICK’

Vilamoura night club LICK’ has again made headlines when it was evacuated just after midnight due to a bomb scare.

This is the second time in a week that authorities have been called to the venue.

The authorities were called at around 12.30am this morning and the club was evacuated, swept by the GNR bomb detonation team and inspected by Loulé firefighters. They soon confirmed that the bomb threat was fake, however management at the nightclub decided to remain closed for the night.

Last week 19-year-old staff member Lucas Leote, who was shot at the door of the nightclub didn’t survive his injuries and died after being taken to Faro Hospital. The alleged perpetrator of the murder fled via motorcycle, which has since been recovered by the authorities. However, he has not yet been found. Read more here.
