BIC bank has announced that it will suspend future debt recovery action against the former workers of Alicoop and is suspending all planned court actions for 90 days while the situation is ‘clarified.’
BIC management met three workers’ representatives, Paulo Martins, Luís Alves and Sérgio Catarino, and a compromise, of sorts, was announced whereby current court actions will continue but no new ones will be started for the agreed three months.
