The Algarve soon is to have a trail biking centre in Barão de São João, Lagos, which will open during the Feira do Folar held between 19 and 21 of April.
The new center is in the Cultural Centre of Barão de São João, located near the start of several biking trails.
This trail biking facility will have changing rooms, showers, an area to hose down muddy bikes and a DIY workshop.
The Lagos municipality has eight bike trails registered, 260 kilometres of tracks, with four levels of difficulty, essential for the establishment of a successful centre.
There are plans to connect this local network to the Via Algarviana and the Rota Vicentina.
