17 districts under yellow warning due to rain and thunderAll districts of mainland Portugal, except Bragança, are today under yellow warning due to the forecast of showers, sometimes heavy, accompanied by frequent thunderstorms and gusts of wind.

Castelo Branco, Portalegre, Santarém, Lisbon, Setúbal, Beja, Évora and Faro are under yellow warning due to the forecast of showers and gusts until 21:00 today and frequent thunderstorms until 18:00 today.

The yellow notice for the districts of Viana do Castelo, Braga, Porto, Vila Real, Viseu, Guarda, Aveiro, Coimbra and Leiria will be in effect until 00:00 on Saturday.

The IPMA also placed the Madeira archipelago under yellow warning due to the forecast of strong wind with gusts up to 100 kilometers per hour until 12:00 today.

The yellow warning is issued by the IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for certain activities depending on the weather situation.

The IPMA forecasts today on the continent generally cloudy skies and showers, sometimes strong, occasionally with hail and accompanied by thunderstorms.

The forecast also points to a weak to moderate wind from the east, sometimes strong on the coast, blowing strongly in the highlands, with gusts up to 90 kilometers per hour, gradually rotating towards the south.

There is also a slight increase in the minimum temperature in the North and Center regions and a decrease in the maximum on the west coast.

The minimum temperatures oin Portugal will vary between 8 degrees Celsius (in Bragança) and 15 (in Faro) and the maximum between 12 degrees (in Guarda) and 19 (in Faro).

In Funchal, temperatures will fluctuate between 15 and 22 degrees and in Porto Santo between 15 and 20.
