United Kingdom UK loses legal bid to deport Jordanian cleric

The European Court of Human Rights on Tuesday ruled that Jordanian cleric Abu Qatada - a former close ally of Osama bin Laden - could not be deported from the UK to his native country, where he has been convicted in absentia of two bomb plots.
