United Kingdom EU orders stricter stress tests for its nuclear plants

European Union nations agreed Friday to carry out tougher safety tests on their nuclear reactors in the wake of the crisis at Japan's Fukushima plant. France, with 58 of the EUs 143 nuclear plants, vowed to close any plant that fails the tests.
