United Kingdom EU denounces S&Ps French downgrade error

The EU lashed out at Standard & Poor's for accidentally sending out a note to clients Thursday saying it was downgrading its credit rating for France. The EU's Internal Markets Commissioner Michel Barnier described the error as grave.
