United Kingdom Cold snap rages as forecasters warn it will worsen

Europe's cold snap has claimed at least 220 lives in Europe in the last seven days, according to an AFP tally. Hardest hit was Ukraine, where 101 have died. In parts of the Czech republic, the temperature reached -38.1 C.
