Faro Airport has seen its eight millionth passenger arrive, on board a Jet2.com flight from the UK that landed at 13.10 this afternoon.
This figure is higher than the total number of passengers handled last year as the airport has increased its handling capacity and has attracted more carriers and flights per carrier.
